I ain't no professional in this either, but one thing fo' sur I've been in this business quite lon', so I think I can tell ya a thin' or two 'bout it...
Ah, why the hell am I talking like that...
Before we start, let me make it clear that the crossdressing i'll be talking about here is the one for boys who dress like girls.
Crossdressing is fun. You can feel how it feels like to be the opposite gender if you do it right. Like that feel when you wear a skirt. It feels breezy but somehow soothing and really make you feel like a girl.
BUT!
Xdressing (CrossDressing) doesn't come free and easy. Some people end up being burdened and suffer instead. There are even cases where some xdressers commit suicide.
Why? Because nowadays, crossdressing is still seen as something gross. Seen like a rebel against what God gave us. I'm quite religious, but I say I do anything I want with my body and believe it or not, I managed to xdress all thanks to God's help!! This world is ending and there's no way around it, so instead of prolonging the inevitable, let's just get on with it and end it all!!
When xdressing, you'll have fun, but you'll also experience bullies, oppression, being excluded, hated, and all those negative things you can get in society. And this is why I always say, xdressing is NOT for the WEAK! If you xdress without making your mental strong first, you will crumbled at some point. You need a strong mental, a mental of a man, of a steel!! A strong ambition to get your goal and tackle everything that comes your way!!!
I have some tips before you start xdressing:
1. BE A MAN!
I know how you feel about this. You're tired of people telling you to 'be a man' just because you were born one. Not like we can choose our gender like in games. But what can we do? It's already our fate, and believe it or not, once someone born a man, he has this man instinct in them no matter how they grow up to be.
So enough 'bout that. What I mean here is, like I said, you got to be strong. Don't mop for every little problem that comes your way. Problem isn't there for you to cry about, it's for you to tackle, to destroy, to solve, TO KILL!! It's a goddamn challenge for you. So stop crying like you're the most miserable creature in this world and get out there tackling problems! You aren't some captured princess who wait for her prince to come, what if that prince dies in his way? Will you let yourself rot in where you're kept or will you get out by yourself? your choice...
2. Never give up, be persistent
Give up once, and it's the end of it. Those bullies and the 'you don't look good in it' will stomp your spirit and pride to the ground. And it's your choice what question to ask. "How long can you endure it?" or "What can make you do better."
Have in you the attitude of never giving up. Whatever happens, you will keep go on and do it. Why? They tell me i'm not good at it, they mock me because of it! Why? BECAUSE YOU LOVE IT, GODDAMNIT!! That is enough reason for you to keep moving! To hell with them who try to stop you from doing it, not like they care when you get sick or anything! But, they might be true, they might be saying i'm not good at it because i really am not good at it~. Listen, or.. read..., if someone is saying that you don't look good but they aren't saying what doesn't look good, or not giving any tips to help, they are just trying to dump your spirit. This world is full of drama and lies, don't just believe whatever people is saying.
3. Have a goal, be ambitious
You want to look cuter and even cuter everyday. Make it your goal, make it your ambition. You want to be treated as a girl, or you want to fool everyone 'coz you like the look on their face when they're fooled, whatever it is. Goal give meanings to your life which is good. Do whatever it takes to achieve that goal, never stop, keep advancing, at least one step everyday. You can pause sometimes, but stop is not even a word.
4. Hell to them, be ignorant... or vengeful
Human receive bad words better and good words. Like I said, when someone say bad things about you, just ignore them! Or better, convert those bad words into motivation! Tell yourself that one day, you gonna be so good they'll lose their jaw to the ground when they see you! They won't admit how good you've been, but, boy! you gonna love the look on their face when they got an awkward boner just by looking at you!
5. Find a friend
A close friend can sometime be better than far relatives. Trust me, you'll need them. You can be as strong as you want, but too much burden will crush you anyway. Friends can help cheer you up.
Friends can also make you comfortable being accepted despite how pitiful you are. A girl friend or senior xdresser can even help you with your xdressing! So go get it. This is a bad land, you won't last a minute without a friend.
6. Be friendly
The world has change. You can't have your way just from being scary anymore, but being friendly to everyone can get you far. And everyone like that average looking but good girl better than that hot bitch who think she's the best in the world and look at other people as just trashes.
So no matter what people say to you, no matter how good you've become, keep smiling, even if you have to fake it, and be friendly to them. Those suckers will feel awkward when you still smiling after they mock you so bad.

Now that we got the mental, what do you need to start crossdressing?
Obviously, make up and some clothes to wear. Oh, don't forget the wig.
For make up, you might need a full set one. Man and women has different face structures so we need shading. Also, softlens can help us to get bigger eyes, accompanied by eye liner and eye shadow. Thinner eye brow look cuter in my opinion and so does thinner eyelashes. You can use fake eyelashes to make your eyes more feminine too. Wear lipstick or lipgloss too just in case. And of course, foundation before face powder. I'm not expert in make up yet, so you might want to check out some make up tutorial on the net for this. Oh, and one more thing. Make sure that the make up you're buying is compatible with your skin. We don't want you to ruin your skin, now, do we?
Clothing is a bit tricky. You'll want something that will look good on you, but you also have list of things you want to wear. But since men don't have boobs, maybe we should avoid those too-revealing clothes. Unless of course, you have some fake boobs you can get from online shopping. There are also some tutorial to make one yourself, just check out those creative cosplayer sites.
We all love cute clothes, the one that flutters and pink and fluffy, but it may look weird. Like a middle aged woman wearing kid's clothes, how do you like that? So match the clothes to your face type. If you have the baby face, I think you can go for any clothes! Lucky you... But for those who have bigger build and more mature face, go with something modest to look more natural. Maybe like long skirt and long sleeve. Scarfs are also good for this, and especially those sun hat. The point is, find something that make you look pretty instead of cute.
Oh, and here's a tip. If you want boobs that badly, try wearing 3 stacked bras. It has good size and shape, but beware, it's suffocating.
As for the wig, I recon you might not have much problem with them since they are just hairstyle. Just go with the one that look best on you. Let your womanly instinct do this thing. I personally go for the black ones to look natural. Black long ones that is, not matter if it's curvy or not. I recommend go for long ones since having a long hair has its own experience.

So we've settled on things you should have. Now in case you are living with those who you don't want to find out about your xdressing, hide the things!!
- Place them at separate places. So when they find something, they won't find the others at the same time. But don't you forget where you keep them as well.
- Hide them in places hard to access. This will increase the hiding chance since nobody will purposelessly wander to the back of your wardrobe.
- Ask a friend to store your things. This is also why I told you to get a friend.
- Don't act girly to those people. This will decrease their chance of being suspicious.
- If anything found out, just say that you don't know. Since you aren't that girly, this'll do. Getting the things thrown to the trash is better than you being yelled at, right?

All preparation ready, now for the execution. For first timers, you'll experience this anxiety and excitement at the same time. Your brain will tell you to stop several times, but ignore this and just keep going.
I recommend you to put on make up in places with AC. Change your clothes in the toilet. I personally go into the guys toilet. Nothing wrong with a guy going in to guys toilet, right? But if you are confident (and brave) enough, you may go into the girls one. See what will happen.
After you're done, now about the act. What I don't like about many xdresser is that they don't act like a girl at all. They act like a transgender guys! Their act are made up! In my opinion just be natural. Your girl appearance and girl instinct will kick in and make you act like a natural girl by themselves. You'll get your own girl persona and not feeling weird about it anymore in no time. It can also get you used to move girlier faster too. Just act natural, be yourself.
As for the voice now. You will want your voice to be girlish so that you won't scare everyone around. I don't really know how, but my voice is already girlish by itself, so I don't really have trouble with it. But here's some tricks. You can play with your throat to girlified your voice. Just press here and there until you find the right one. And by press, I mean move your throat, not pressing the by hands. Throats, inner mouth, anything you can move! And also, try to add a 'sss' or 'hhh' at the end of every words. This make it sound a bit softer. Or you can just watch some anime. Their voices are cute, try imitating them.

My motivation to xdressing is because I want to look cute, and girls tend to let down their guard when I xdressing, and so that I can see a girl doing whatever I want her to do in the mirror and use it as fapping material.
